By Dr. Thien Yee Von (TARUMT)
The Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FKEE) at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) successfully hosted FKEE FEST 2026, a vibrant celebration of student innovation, talent showcases, and industry networking. A major highlight of this year’s festival was the recognition of top-tier engineering talent during the Final Year Project (FYP) evaluation.
The IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia Chapter proudly sponsored and presented prestigious industrial awards to two outstanding FYP students who demonstrated exceptional research and innovation in their engineering projects.
Award Recipients
WAN NUR FAZLIANA ALYAA BINTI ABD RAHMAN
Project Title: STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF SOIL RESISTIVITY AND MOISTURE CONTENT ON GROUNDING SYSTEM RESISTANCE
MUHAMMAD ALIF IMRAN BIN ROSIDI
Project Title: Development of High-Frequency Current Transformer (HFCT) for Low-Voltage Partial Discharge Detection in Residential Wiring Systems (415v/230v)
