The IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia Chapter has successfully organised a Workshop on “Introduction of ANSYS Maxwell in Electrical Engineering Field” on 1st March 2016 in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru. The workshop was also supported by Institute of High Voltage and High Current (IVAT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

The facilitator of the workshop was Mr. Kamorn Bandudej from CAD-IT Thailand. The participants were briefed on the overview of ANSYS Maxwell Solution, ANSYS Multiphysics, advantages of ANSYS for high voltage applications and system level simulation for advanced power electronics and electric drives.
